"Property was ok but in definite need of upgrades and care. The surrounding area is shady at best but could be beautiful if investments are made to buildings, elevators, and electrical systems. The electrical outlets in room didn’t work and were sooty. Overall, needs a redo."

"Clean and spacious rooms. Staff was helpful and courteous. Will recommend lodge to others. My family loved the beautiful birds singing outside our window. From our porch, we could see geese and goslings in a small pond. Super cute. Kona is nice but Hilo rocks!!! Great common area. Really clean."
