"Decent hotel. Private beach good for families with kids. Good location by the city center and close to airport Downsides: exorbitant parking fee of 35$ and destination tax of 22$ which adds up. The hotel luau (island breeze) was quite expensive but Food at island breeze luau was bad."

"The room was fine and clean. The area around the hotel is a little sketchy. The homeless are very prevalent and although they didn’t bother the guests they seem to linger about which is a little uncomfortable. The town of Kona also needs to be more diligent about having clean streets and common areas. ..."
