A lovely country pub, with fabulous rooms & great attentive service. However, the food was a big letdown…. Serving tepid food is not acceptable. My wife sent her fish & chips back as it was not hot. They replaced the dish apart from the fish, which they had reheated ! Hasten to say this was taken off the bill. All our desserts were also not hot enough.

We enjoyed a very pleasant overnight stay at The Partridge, and were impressed with the room standard and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We ate both dinner and breakfast at the adjoining pub and were pleased with everything we ordered. Lots of parking available, and very convenient to the M56, while at the same time feeling very rural. We look forward to returning next time we're in the area.

Would of been really good!
Would have been a great stay - however there was no hot water. I was informed on check in that it would be back on in the next 30mins. Still no hot water at 8am the next day. I understand that problems happen however it would be nice if the staff acknowledged the issue

A Gem of a Hotel
I stayed in The Partridge for 3 nights whilst on a business trip to the northwest. Location - Could not be better, just off the M56, close to the M6. Well signposted Accommodation - Beautifully appointed room with a firm but very comfortable bed and clean, crisp white linen. The shower room had a heated floor and a walk-in shower with an amazing rainfall shower head. The mirror remained perfectly clear which is a very welcome bonus when shaving after a hot shower. Food - I had 3 evening meals and two breakfasts. All of the meals were excellent with the Tandoori Chicken with Coronation Risotto particularly good (Probably the best dish I have had in a hotel in a long long time). Service - The room was mistakenly set up without towels and the staff could not have been more apologetic and helpful with towels provided in a matter of minutes. Bar and restaurant staff were very polite, efficient and friendly and cannot be faulted. The Partridge is part of the Timpson Group and the customer service ethics that one sees in the Timpson branches is not only matched but exceeded at The Partridge. I look forward to my next trip to the northwest.

A quick one night stay
Arrived really early and the lovely staff were able to accommodate us to the room. This was very much appreciated following our long flight from Oklahoma City. We had breakfast and an evening meal in the restaurant, both are recommended. The service and ambience were fantastic. The room was charming, rustic with a modern twist. The bed was comfy and everything worked as it should. The hotel grounds are beautiful with ample parking. We will definitely recommend this place to others.

Dad & Son Motor Racing Weekend
An absolutely stunning period property in an enclosed setting. Couldn't ask for a warmer welcome on arrival, and immediately made to feel that no request was an inconvenience. Such courteous and attentive staff. A great stay for my Dad & I whilst at the nearby motor racing. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to others.
