Property is very grand and well maintained. There is some work going on in the grounds at the moment but that doesn't detract from the way it looks or is presented. Rooms in the paddock annex are nice but wifi was lacking which wasn't ideal as we were there for work purposes. Only other downside, is that the food choices are either high end or the bar menu which itself is limited. There needs to be more a mid-range restaurant option in my opinion. Overall a lovely hotel and would definitely stay again for leisure purposes

Terrible… headboard and bed battered and worn out, tissue paper found in the peep hole , broken door hook, at least 6 room service trays were in the hall ( smelly ) when arrived still there when we left the next day … corridor and stairs very narrow , felt like staff quarters … a wet walk from main hotel … not worth £195 per night , can provide pictures if required. Very disappointed, would not recommend or re visit

Rooms were fine but I paid extra for this hotel as it included breakfast but when we arrived we were told that breakfast was from 8-10am which was not good for us as we needed to leave at 7.30am, when I asked if there was anything they could do it was a firm no, I asked if there would be some financial compensation for not being able to have breakfast again it was a firm no. I then enquired about dinner in the restaurant and was told that I had to book in advance. Not flexible in anyway.

Disappointed and needs refurbishment
I arrived at the property and I was surprised that I then had to drive to the block where my room was located. The overall feel of the accommodation was similar to a motel and the decor and carpet was very tired for the price. The shower and bathroom were also quite mouldy and generally in need of some TLC. Such a shame as I chose this hotel based on the look of the pictures on the app, which were not reflective of the actual accommodation.

Upgraded room to stay in the hotel. Did not realise we were booked into the paddocks which is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is amazing, there are many dining options for lunch and dinner. There are also many activities and experiences available in and around the hotel. Overall experience 5/5!

Great hotel
Booked last minute to break up a journey to Luton airport. It's a gorgeous building and huge!!! Room was nice a double bed a little dated but felt really clean ( apart from the remote- bit I'm funny about those and always use a plastic bag) bathroom was clean. Had a fantastic breakfast, one of the best hotel we've had for ages!!! Wish we could have used the spa but got there late and had to leave early. Would definitely return.
