A hidden gem, well worth a stay
Our room was lovely, beautifully decorated and had decent views. Parking outside was not a problem, and the overall atmosphere of Lakeview Guest house as well as the attention detail ( and the breakfast) made our stay perfect.

Lakeside' host was great, making us fee very welcome. Had a lovely room on the top floor, which was really well appointed. The full Scottish breakfast was great. Won't hesitate to book again if in the Stranraer area.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, which was conveniently located and easy to find. The staff were exceptionally courteous, even going so far as to call ahead and confirm the check-in time, as well as suggest dining options. The breakfast was delightful, offering a wide variety of options to choose from.

Elaine looked after us so well, the breakfast was delicious and the whole property has been decorated beautifully. This would definitely be my number one choice when I stay in Stranraer again. Would definitely recommend worth more than 5.*
