Arrived on Sunday night to be told the restaurant was closed all week and it was a hot buffet, looked at menu and paid the £29.95. It was appalling, the staff seemed embarrassed one of them even referring to it as slops! No one available to refund, or on Monday before and after work. Breakfast buffet supremely mediocre and when asking for poached eggs I was told they didn’t do them.
You have to pay a nominal fee even as a resident to use the pool facilities and, I had regrettably booked for 2 nights, housekeeping don’t come mid stay which I have never experienced before.
The pressure on the shower was good though paint was flaking off the bath.
All in all a total refurb is needed here, and a total review of catering.
There is no indication on the website that the restaurant might be closed, it came across that this happens when there are too many guests.
To add insult to injury when I had my deliveroo arrive on Monday night and went to borrow some cutlery I was told I couldn’t unless I paid £5 and presented with a wooden alternative!!!!
