Hotel to get away from all phones and wifi

Cons: The bedroom lights were very dim and we had to put them all on just to see around the room but inadequate to read. The chandelier bulbs need to be 60w
Hotel is difficult to find. Although the rooms are well decorated it has an aura of yesterday. Wi fi is vey weak and unsecure mobile reception is zero on vodaphone and a signal can only be obtained outside the hotel. Although much is made of the chef the meals we had were only fair .

a very pleasant hotel

The staff were accommodating to us cyclists and very friendly and helpful generally. I liked being able to walk out from the room into the garden

One of the best

Coming home recognised as an old friend who has stayed previously new chef, up to the same standard refurbishment of the lounge has added space and light
