Friendly couple who went out of their way to make us comfortable and showed concern when there was a power outage due to the storm, apologised profusely but of no fault of theirs.

Had a wonderful stay at Wortley cottage guest house, for anybody that loves stopping in an old property this was lovely, the owners were very nice people. Will definitely be going back there.

Lovely relaxing stay
Friendly welcome from the host, and some good advice where to eat/ drink/ walk etc. Really enjoyed the relaxing breakfast with nice rustic touches and a nice tea pot etc. Sausages were amazing Will definately stay again

A wonderful place to stay
From the moment I walked through the gate I was given the warmest of welcomes & made to feel at home. A beautiful guest house, clean & tidy with lovely hosts who went above & beyond to make my stay comfortable & memorable, for all the right reasons! I hope I will get to stay here again.

Superb hospitality, Tony and his wife were very accommodating what a lovely place to stay. Petty it was for only one night but I would highly recommended.

Cozy and welcoming home away from home
Wortley is a charming little village on the edge of Sheffield and the Wortley Cottage Guest House is equally as charming, with its hosts two of the most welcoming you are likely to meet. The guest house itself is comfortable and well kept, with well equipped rooms both clean and cozy. Would recommend to anyone, whether business or pleasure and if ever in the area will be sure to stay again.
