I liked the ensuite shower and toilet - essential nowadays. I've given this a 4-star rating because 1. I was initially given a room that hadn't been cleaned; and 2. the heating and shower could have done with being a few degrees warmer. The replacement room I was given was fine, as was the breakfast. The price was very good value. I will consider Ibis again should the need arise.

Pleasant one night stay
We stayed in the Ibis hotel for one night.The room was fine and spacious enough. We had everything we needed. The room was dated and the flush for the toilets was very noisy. Apart from that, it was good. We would stay there again.

Economic clean, few frills.
Well located for motorway. Good carpark on site. Staff on reception very polite and helpful. Room clean and tidy if average in today's market. Bed very comfortable plus good sized en-suite.

Got into our room to find the sofa bed wasn't made up so had to go back to reception and wait for the staff to find us another room. This took a little while, and after many hours on the road admittedly my patience was a little thin. Our room was unfortunately in a much noisier part of the hotel. The room was clean, but the carpet was so thin and just not nice at all. It was fine for a cheap cheerful overnight stay.

The only downside was breakfast was very disappointing as all the pastries had gone and the fresh fruit was looking worse for wear. The bacon was excellent but overall expensive.

Excellent service.
Reception staff were great. We had a problem with the bathroom, with no maintenance staff on Sundays we were quickly given an alternative room. Excellent breakfast.

The hotel was very convenient for the purpose of our visit. The only complaint I have was the noise from the road which carried on through the night, so sleep quality wasn't great. One member of staff in particular was very helpful and very professional in her position as a receptionist. I'm sure she will go far.
