I was very disappointed. Showers were cold. No heating on the coldest night. I could not sleep at all. No power sockets next to bed. Phone did not work to call reception. TV remote was not for tv.

Lovely Hotel

A lovely hotel. Great facilities. Pool, Steam Room, Sauna and Jacuzzi ... and Table Football in the bar :-) Very clean, modern and friend atmosphere. Very good value too. Would stay again.

good location

Pros: modern decor and felt cosy in lounge area as had different areas to sit in, watch TV or quiet area and the kids loved the football table!
Cons: changing room for pool/gym floor wet and dirty muddy and hair
Location: Short drive into town and 10 mins to Magna science museum (great for slightly older children, as dark and loud noises)
Lovely staff ,everyone really friendly from reception desk to the cleaner.Traveled with 3 young children and nothing was too much bother when children asked for slightly different menu it was all catered for. Room was prefect for all 5 of us. All enjoyed the pool ( a little chilly) and tried the small gym.

Nice hotel

First time stay here, the rooms were clean and tidy. It's on a main road so close to motorways. Ask for a room at the back to get no noise!

Actually it was very good

Nothing major to complain about. Could do with better soundproofing on the windows but it wasn't overly noisy. Gym was reasonable considering it was included in the price. All in all it was a good stay and close to the motorway. Would stay again.

Visiting Family

Stayed one night (Fri) while visiting family in Sheffield. Overall the Staff were very welcoming. The room looked tired and road noise could be heard all night even with the windows closed. The Queen Bed was Ok but well used and now losing any real support for a good nights sleep, good size though. Noisy guests could be heard returning early morning, the room doors could be better insulated against this. Bathroom Ok but could have been cleaned better. Food options (although not taken) were very expensive considering the Hotel location to cheaper outlets. Ok overall for the price but it could be a lot better. Would use it again if no where else was available but very Average.
