We loved it.
We stayed in church view, room 4.
The staff were all welcoming, polite, friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed for two nights and were asked if we needed anything, how was our room, how was our stay on a few occasions.
We had breakfast provided both mornings and it was lovely. They change your table round each morning do you get a different view which is very thoughtful.
We also had our evening meal in the restaurant on one of the nights, we hadn’t booked and they still managed to find us some space. It is clearly popular as the tables were all reserved around us.
The sticky toffee pudding was lovely, and our mains were also fab.
The room was also good, blackout curtains made it darker and there was a fan provided to help cool the room down (we went on a particularly warm couple of days).
There was a shower and bath, plus shower gel, shampoo provided as well as water and tea and coffee in the room.
The only thing you need to be aware of, which wasn’t a problem for us at all, is the building itself is old and quirky. This means the stairs to the bedrooms are a bit historic and therefore uneven, if you find stairs tricky, these are not for you. Otherwise we found them very giggle-worthy (especially if you’ve had a couple of beverages) 😆
Thanks for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended you to others and hope to come back soon.
