Nothing was unique really - we went there because on arrival at the Holiday Inn South near junction 11 we were told that the pool and gym were shut for refurbishment. This was dissappointing as the whole reason for booking and paying the extra above a Travel Lodge was to have those facilities. We spoke with a lady at ebookers who cancelled this booking and got us in at the Holiday Inn at Junction 10. More expensive at 4 star but with great facilities and we had a good time. We like the window open and found the motorway noisy at night.

Handy for visiting London

Pros: The room. loction, food, and quality
Location: We used it as a base to visit London and it was effortless as the Train Station is right on the doorstep.
We were really impressed with everything about this hotel. I really can't find fault and only wished we could have stayed longer. We used it as a base to visit London but really that was doing it a disservice. It is a lovely Hotel to stay and enjoy. The Breakfast was so varied and good quality. The price we paid was without doubt a bargain. Would highly recommend it.

Holiday Inn M4 J10

I stayed at the holiday Inn to incorporate a business trip and also meet up with some friends. I normally stay at the Best Western, but this was fully booked. However l am glad it was booked. This is a new hotel and it is superb. Extremley good price, fantastic service, great food - Everything a business/stop over could wish for - Highly recommended. Walking distance to Winnersh Station which takes you direct into Reading Station. Also a walking distance to cinema and pubs. Great location for M4 which is about 2 mins away (no motorway noise heard) - Also 10 min drive to Reading Fc/London Irish and 20 mins to Reading town centre
