Nice and convenient and just off the motorway. Room was nice and clean. The deluxe double room was spacious. Breakfast was busy on the first day of stay, but staff worked hard to accomodate everyone.

It was a lovely hotel and in beautiful grounds, staff very helpful and a lovely pool and a gym, it's good to take a walk around the grounds, would recommend.

Room was nice enough but floor was creaky, mattress a bit uncomfortable and the water flow from the shower was poor - possibly one of the worst hotel showers I have experienced. Warm water came out of the cold tap unless run for at least a minute Checkin staff were nice and friendly. There was a good water bottle refill station

Great staff but left very disappointed
We specifically booked this hotel for the leisure facilities as my son wanted to use the pool after a day at the zoo. I had already checked on hotels.com the opening hours of the pool and it stated open until 8pm. We checked in at 545 and were told that the pool would close at 6.30 for kids. We dashed fown only to be told that the pool was closed as an infant had soiled in it. Thats fine, accidents happen. We were told that the pool would reopen soon, great we thought however they said it would be after 630 and that we couldnt swim as a family. Not happy as we only stayed here for the pool and we knew that we wouldnt have time in the morning. We then got back to the room and decided to go out earlier for our meal. We then got in the shower which had limited pressure and wasnt what I would expect from this particular hotel chain. As a result, We then chose to have a shower in the leisure centre as easier than moving rooms. The bright spot of this stay was the breakfast, which was amazing. The chef came out so i thanked him and he was great with the kids. Overall, when you go away, I'm not bothered about all the trimmings, i just want a good nights sleep and nice shower to feel refreshed and sadly I got neither. Quite disappointing for such a nice hotel.
