Wonderful stay in the Claymore guest house
We spent two nights in this beautiful guest house. The owner Gordon met us on arrival and was so helpful in suggesting where to go for something to eat or drink. The room was lovely, very big with a shower room, dressing room and cloakroom. The bed was so comfortable! At breakfast the staff were so nice and helpful. We had a lovely view onto the front lawn which had been well looked after. Very colourful flowers and even a friendly pheasant appeared in the morning. The guest house is well situated as you can walk into Pitlochry within 5 minutes.

Lovely Guest House
Really enjoyed our stay at Claymore. Greeted on arrival and given all the information we needed. Breakfast was fantastic and very accommodating towards my dogs (prearranged). Would definitely go back.

The Jewel in the Crown of our Staycation
Pitlochry was fantastic and idealic wee Scottish town, I only wish we had planned another couple of days there rather than just n overnight stay. The rest of our staycation paled into insignificance after this experience. The 'Claymore Guest House' was wonderful, an extra luxurious accommodation and very reasonably priced. A super large modern classic bedroom with a sitting area and a large modern bathroom suite, and to top it all we also had a lovely view across the well manicured front lawn. Graham was so welcoming and interested in all of his guests, and served a varied delicious breakfast in the morning. I simply cannot recommend this guest house enough, it was the crown in the jewel of our week long staycation which also included St. Andrews, Callander and Stirling. We will definitely be back for another trip to Pitlochry in the near future. Thank you Graham and your staff for your wonderful hospitality, hope to see you soon.

Absolutely fantastic place and staff. Rooms were immaculate with a fantastic outlook. We stayed with the 'outlaws', so had two rooms and both of them were perfect, as well as the owners/staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay with them exceptional! Thanks ever so much from all 4 of us! We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic Stay
Fabulous stay at the Claymore. Could not be faulted at all. Hosts make you feel extremely welcome and nothing is any trouble for them. Room was spacious with lovely views of the gardens and countryside. Bed extremely comfortable and modern bathroom. Lovely breakfasts with a great choice of options. Would throughly recommend the guest house as a place to stay in Pitlochry.

Delightful stay at the Claymore
Was greeted in friendly manner at check in and shown to our room, which was a lovely spacious room with four poster bed over looking the garden, which was immaculate and beautifully planted and the wooded hills beyond. Location was central for the town. Breakfasts were exceptionally good with attentive service. Three cheers for the Claymore

Fantastic stay
Very welcoming and friendly guest house. Graeme, the owner, and Natalie, the young lady who served us breakfast most mornings, couldn’t do enough for us, always with good humour. The food on offer was plentiful and perfectly cooked. Room was comfortable and extremely clean. The grounds were beautiful and the Claymore is situated close to several good restaurants and everything else was in easy walking distance.

Had a great stay at the Claymore - just a shame it was only one night. Had a great welcome even though we were late (train was delayed), and they put on an early breakfast before our train to Inverness which was delicious (my favourite was the honey marmalade). Would definitely recommend and would love to go back and stay longer!
