The Space:
Sunny Dale Cottage has a bright and spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area. The perfect spot to unwind with your loved ones, you can cosy up on the corner sofa and turn on the flat screen TV to watch your favourite shows. Both stylish and practical, the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and cookware so you can prepare meals easily. The dining area includes a wooden table and four chairs.
The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms. Both bedrooms feature king size beds with plush bedding and premium bed linens to ensure you have the best sleep possible. There is ample storage space for your belongings with wardrobes and drawers.
Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a clean, modern space with a bath and overhead shower, WC and basin.
Sunny Dale Cottage boasts an outdoor space with a dining table and sun loungers. Ideal for morning coffees, evening tipples and al fresco dining, the garden is an added bonus.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is free on site parking for one vehicle.

Nestled on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, you can expect the most beautiful views. The perfect place for a relaxing retreat, you can enjoy peaceful walks and explore the several cafes and pubs in the village.
Nearby Pickering is a thriving market town with plenty of independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars so you won’t tire of things to do. Explore Pickering Castle which is packed with a rich history dating back to the 12th century. Enjoy a walk on the iconic Cleveland Way, or head to Dalby Forest where you can explore the gentle woodland trails. Prefer to push yourself to the extreme? Go Ape Adventure Centre is for you!

Sunny Dale Cottage is within walking distance of all that Thornton-le-Dale has to offer and within 30 minutes’ drive time of Pickering, Hutton Le Hole, Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley and Malton.
The nearest mainline railway station can be found 9 miles away in Malton with routes to Scarborough, Manchester and Liverpool amongst others.
Sunny Dale Cottage is a short 5-minute drive to Pickering rail station where you can experience the infamous North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The station is a must see with a 1930s theme, so you’ll be transported back in time to the steam era. From here, you can travel to popular destinations such as Whitby, Grosmont and Goathland.
Thornton-le-Dale has great bus links to nearby towns and villages. Hop on the 128 bus route which travels to Pickering, Kirkbymoorside and Helmsley.
