A lovely pub hotel with the most amazing breakfast
The Dixie is always a great place to stay. A proper pub as well as a lovely hotel. Great breakfast with the option of a takeaway one if you’re going to off early. Comfy room, great shower. No complaints at all!

The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was spot on. I really liked that we could use the car park even after we'd checked out. Great value for money, we'll stay here again.

Room 6 was beautifully decorated, toiletries supplied, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water all in the room. Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast-would return thank you

The room was basic, the shower was terrible and needs replacing as best it was only lukewarm. The barman was rude and condescending, I certainly wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Ver comfortable one night stay with friends. Lovely location with its' own car park. Lovely breakfast which you select the night before. I would definitely stay hete again.

Staff and food were good, the room was run down and needs refreshing. The two single beds in the room were so low down it was like sleeping on a mattress on the floor. As my room was above the pub it was a little noisy until 11.30pm. The next morning it was noisy again from about 5.30am with cars stopping at the front of the hotel bang their car doors as they were visiting a shop two doors down. I used this hotel as I wanted to be close by to the office and get an early start, unfortunately breakfast didn’t start until 8am and with being awake from 5.30am decided to give breakfast a miss. Would I stay here again probably not, but on a personal note the staff couldn’t have been any friendlier
