The reception staff were really welcoming and the room was clean and the bed comfortable but it was incredibly noisy as I was next to a fire door with people slamming in and out until late at night and starting early in the morning. It was a shame because it was very peaceful between loud slams !

Bed bugs.
Room 2018. I now have 75 bed bug bites. Called hotel to inform them, and they thanked me, but offered no apology. Will be putting something in writing to them. Twin room tiny, but functional. Didn't have any issues during our one-night stay, but since bites have come up, all opinion is clouded. Beware, bites take a few days to become obvious. I have never, ever had bed bug bites in my life, and they're horrible. Now we have the concern that they may have got into our bags,/clothes. What a nightmare.

As always, a good welcome with lots of information. Would have liked a chair in the room and perhaps a fan for the hot weather. But otherwise the bed was very comfy, good bathroom, good tea and coffee.

Overall the study was very nice. The rooms are very small. The windows only open about an inch. The rooms were hot but the bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The shower was hot and the area was very safe with a great walk around the lake and forest area. Overall a very pleasant day and worth the price you pay

Have been to the NWSC before but haven’t considered it as accommodation before. Beds were comfortable, shower was good, room was clean. Bid weird about the non drinkable water but we were given plenty of bottled water. Lovely walk around the rowing course.

The twin room was ok, a little small though. Bathroom was great, beds were ok, could do with new mattresses as they sunk in in the middle. All the bed frame was dangerous, the wood was broken and we kept walking into it and hurting our shins. The event that was on the regatta was fantastic.

Lovely crisp cotton bedding, comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, good shower, good value for money. Room very small but adequate for somewhere just to sleep. Not being able to drink the water was a surprise but we stocked up on a couple of big bottles of water and used those alongside those provided. Very friendly staff, would stay again when visiting family.

In more basic and it won’t have had a door on.
A hotel room should have a seat to sit in and running drinking water. Water was provided in small plastic bottles from reception. The least environmentally friendly hotel in the uk. Window opaque screen half peeling off. Can see why it so cheap.
