Safety door lock not working. Room 45
I got locked into my room and had to phone for help, the safety lock on the door was not working. It was quickly remedied and help was sent but it scared me.

Our room was huge and very well equipped. Lovely and ginormous bathroom. We were just there for the night…we had other plans for dinner and breakfast….whichbis a shame because the food theybwere preparing at the highlander restaurant smelled heavenly!

Great stay once again, staff always very polite, highly satisfied with meal/ breakfast, room was as required for my friend Dorothy, clean and relaxing,just what was needed after a long drive down from Orkney, jewellery was too tempting also gifts on display so bought some, good value, look forward to our next visit. Washer instructions were lacking as they could have been proved with a picture of the actual . machine settings.Device washes well. but does not dry clothes. A folding drying rack could have been provided. Better instructions on central heating need tweaking. Place was too hot so we just turned off the system to cool.off.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel on our roadtrip round the Highlands. The room was modern and comfortable - great bed and the shower was really good too (on the bijou side but lovely water pressure and hot). The room was a good size, accommodating us and 2 German shepherd dogs. The decor in the main hotel areas could do with modernising - very 1970s - but not unpleasant, with the exception of the snug where a really good overhaul is long overdue. The fact that the hotel could accommodate us with the dogs in the bar area to eat was fantastic and fortunately the dogs were well behaved so not an issue. The staff were great, really helpful and attentive although some of them were nervous around the hounds. Food was good, and the sweet trolley should be retained at all costs - modernisation or not! Thank you for a lovely stay. Would certainly recommend the property.
