Dated and overpriced.
The room was very dated, there were large stains on the carpet, and the room with the separate toilet was dismal. Overpriced, and needs some investment.

RHS Bridgewater Garden Hotel
We always stay here when visiting the nearby RHS Bridgewater garden. It’s a short drive away. It’s good value for money, we don’t feel we are paying for something we wont be using.The hotel has a spacious lounge and bar. The breakfast is very good. The hotel seems to have been improved each time we go. One day they will get rid of the wood chip wallpaper in the rooms. It just won’t be the same!

Upon arrival to the hotel we were told only one of the rooms booked had been confirmed despite receiving no communication to that effect prior to our stay. All records showed we had 2 rooms booked and the money had been taken. The hotel staff were very unhelpful, stating that we would have to pay for another room or share the one that was booked. After some time, they were able to find a 'test' room to fulfill our booking.
