Great location but….
This small house has lovely views over Looe and is a good base for exploring the area.
The house though wouldn’t suit everyone. Access to the house is via a steep narrow staircase.
The main bed is comfortable. The bunk though would probably only suit children. Certainly it would not suit someone who is heavy or tall.
The house is quite well kitted out but anyone staying for any length of time would likely need to buy things like shampoo and soap. All we got were three small sachets for three people for five nights.
There is no parking on site but a paid car park is nearby.

The property it self is nice cute little apartment, the flat was not clean found spiders in the cuboard and sofa being dirty seam like it didn’t had a good clean in a while. Over all it’s a good place to stay
River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. Lanhydrock and Antony are worth visiting. Polperro Fowey and Seaton are nearby and worth a visit. There are steps down to the cottage which need care but we are a couple in our sixties and managed fine. We took small suitcases rather than the usual larger one. The test is always would you go back and we’d love to.
