Nice looking rooms. Cleaning not great. Bin bags left all over our room, bed half made and abandoned. Breakfast was amazing but service varied massively. Great latte from some staff. One with no idea, made the worst coffee I’ve ever drunk so avoided ordering when he was working. Some staff amazingly friendly and helpful none female on the desk rude and aggravated that we asked for a taxi and that at another point our key wouldn’t work. Great location- a ten minute walk to the centre. Nice and quiet.

Hotel near to Chinatown, Liverpool 1 and Albert dock. Large clean room with large separate bath in main room, decoration a little ‘tired’ looking. Comfortable bed with excellent quality bedding. Friendly and welcoming staff on reception on checking in and leaving. Would stay here again.

The reason for my average review was the lack of quality sleep. Mainly due the noises from outside of hotel ( understand this can't be controlled by the hotel) and the temperature within the room. The heat woke me up several times because it was just too hot and I couldn't see a way of controlling it within the room. Another reason for the mark down on review was the lighting. Although I appreciate ambiance, I'd also like to see what I'm doing. not very friendly for women who want to put makeup on, as it's difficult to see. And why do hotels not think about things like having an electrical outlet near a mirror. Ended up resorting to take the mirror off the wall in order for the wife to "see" when straightening her hair.

Brilliant hotel with lovely friendly staff. Room was great, it's about 10 minute walk from the centre and Albert Dock and I would definitely recommend
