We arrived at the hotel after a long travel to be greeted by a very friendly lady at the reception who took us through check in, she gave us our room key and up went went however there was an awful hissing sound in the room and the room smelt unclean like damp and foist so we immediately went downstairs to speak to the lady. She went in the room and agreed this room shouldn’t have been sold, this was room 303. She swiftly then changed us rooms to 306 which was massive however was opposite the bars which was fine we understood the location however the window was open so we thought let’s shut it to avoid some sound. However, the window was broken and there was no way to shut it, down again to reception where we asked the lady to help us with the window. She came up and realised it was broken and said it needed to be reported and we had to move rooms again. We were then moved into room 302 but by this time we were both fed up at the lack of communication of which rooms were actually suitable to be sold and we just wanted to get in the room and relax. We ran the jetted bath. Got in and lots of black mould filled the bath tub from the jet so by this point we were so annoyed so we decided to leave the hotel and go out as we were fed up. The nights sleep wasn’t the best as the night club downstairs was a lot noisier than we thought and we didn’t realise it was open until 5am!! The next morning I took a shower, washed my hair for the hair dryer to then be broke!! Couldn’t write it.

Very rude management!!!!!!!
The key card to let us in the room did not work, we had no electricity in the room, when we returned and had to contact staff at 1.30 in the morning to resolve the issues. The manager was extremely rude to my husband and was laughing at him and shouting insults at him when he asked for a refund as we would not be staying. The hotel is very noisy and has a nightclub on the ground level that is open till 5am. It is surrounded by night clubs and the noise is awful. We did not stay and I have contacted the hotel for a refund but after sampling the manger’s attitude last night I am not hopeful this will happen.

Quirky hotel
Warm welcome on arrival. Please note they do ask for photo ID it's not something that's listed on this site. Huge room and lovely jetted bath. Only downside we were in a room above a club opposite the hotel and the music was on till very late. Location is perfect for those heading for a late night on the town. So many pubs and bars close by

Stayed with my 2 daughters. They loved the room. Rocky Horror. Jacuzzi bath was brilliant and shower. Dark in the room though so take a good light n mirror for makeup. We were warned it was noisey due to nightclub. Would stay again

The bath was broken which is one of the hotels USP's as all rooms feature a type of bath so was very disappointed on this. In room sound system was also broken and there was damage to a number of tiles in the bathroom which could be a hazard. Step in the bathroom not signed and caught foot. Rooms not soundproofed at all and can hear outside along with other occupants on other floors. Beds are however very comfortable and the room was clean. Staff were knowledgeable of the area and requested our feedback via form for management. For a conveniently located stay, would recommend but for facility use or an undisturbed night go elsewhere.

Good location very friendly staff clean rooms. Room too dark!! Sockets in wrong place for mirrors. Only small towels, tired decor wallpaper peeling off in some places. Worst was pounding music one night could feel the vibration boom boom! Until 4am. Unfortunately we wont stay there again.

Rude staff No cold water - had to go buy bottles from the shop to drink/brush our teeth with - reported nobody did anything about it. Dirty rooms/mouldy fridge hot tub was empty takes an hour to fill Say 24/7 text message service - text numerous times and was ignored
