staff wehere like family you get that homly feel we fekt like the only people there roome was perfect in every way had all we needed sleep like a baby hotel was warm throughout the whole hotel spotles food amazing we are coming back for the summer carnival and would reccommend to anyone we really didnt want to go home but are looking forward to going back the vale for money brilliant i cant beleive you get all that for such small price great feel to the building i would love to reaserarch the history of this besutiful building see what i can find out xxxxx thank you to all involved in our stay will not forget how happy we all feel xxxxxx

The hotel is in a very pleasant position overlooking Sefton Park (although close to the main road) and is very good value for money. My room, which looked newly refurbished, was very clean, comfortable and very warm (even in January I had to turn the radiator down a few times!) The breakfast menu was nice and with a vegetarian option. Staff were friendly and helpful. However, the only downside was that the bedroom walls are incredibly thin and I could hear the tv in the next room above mine and on one occasion I had to ask staff to assist, as there was very loud music coming from the next room. If you are a light sleeper I would suggest ear plugs!

Stayed before but on this return our views have dramatically changed Staff are not friendly hotel is not comfortable like before rooms have deteriorated

Easter trip

We had a lovely night away at your hotel staff were very friendly made us feel welcome, we had a lovely meal the fish and chips was lovely compliments to the chef !!!! We had a nice evening in lark lane full of great pubs and restaurants just a 15minutes walk away ,the hotel is in a fab location overlooking Sefton Park Lake we will definitely come back to stay :-)
