A gem of a local hotel.
Very friendly and helpful. Made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Service brilliant, room comfortable and with everything we needed and more, plus a little 'Welcome' note and a couple of chocolates. A very individualised experience. Recommend to anybody !!

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and food in the restaurant. All staff have been very friendly, attentive and helpful. Room was quiet and had everything we needed. Nice to have iron and board without having to request it. Lots of additional touches. Welcome tray with a lovely, personal message and as we would call it, ‘posh’ biscuits and drinks options with additional thought of the option of fresh milk for drinks if wanted- a little milk urn to be filled upon request and keep the milk cool! Breakfast was excellent value, again with attentive, friendly staff. Would recommend and stay again!

We were greeted by families having lunch and the sight of amazing food made walking into the newly refurbished dining area has an instant impact of the family feel that this hotel has to offer. The management team went so far beyond our expectations, after being let down by a rival hotel they came to our rescue. The hotel room was compact but had an amazing en-suite and comfortable bed. Very clean and a personal message welcoming us to the hotel. These little touches made us feel very welcome. This was once of the best experiences that we have had. Thank you and will be back.

Great hotel with fab staff. Rooms are really small but cosy and had everything you need. Restaurant was great with good quality food at a great price. Breakfast choices were great too. Highly recommend this place and ill definately return

When upstairs showerd water poured from light switch and the ceiling window catches missing witch is a security issue as we were room 2 ground floor in car park area had to clean out shower trap myself on arrival as blocked we stayed a week and windows security was still not repaired room was poor for what was charged would NOT recomend to any one else this should not be called an hotel it is fit for b&b 1 night only stays

Nice and cosy room. Both room and bathroom were clean. Little chocolates and a welcome note on the bed was a nice touch. Check in was easy really friendly guy welcoming us in. The pub is lovely too and all staff were polite and treated us well. Food was good and plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.
