Lovely period property and rooms. Close to cafes and pubs. Staff helpful. Only down side, no food on site other than self service cereal type breakfast, however lots of lovely cafes nearby.

only ok
A traditional B&B in that it had deep red carpet, 40 watt globes, lots of rules and a chip in the bath. Not so traditional in that there was no one staying on site, so I had to cut my sightseeing short to register by 6pm, and there was no cooked breakfast. The staff were pleasant and it was clean.

One night stay
We stayed in one of the hot tub rooms which was fabulous. Slippers and gowns provided. Sherry and homemade biscuits in room. Unfortunately we encountered a poblem while stopping there which couldnt be fixed. We spoke to Robin one of the girls on the desk and she was absolutely lovely and it was all handled courteously and professionally. We didnt stop for breakfast so can't comment. The building and it's surroundings inside and out are beautiful. Would stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Staff were friendly, responsive and attentive. Rooms were clean and well cared for. Enjoyed the charm and little extra touches to make us comfortable. The breakfast (for a charge) was lovely and plentiful. Will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

Our stay at Ashmount Country House was amazing
Our stay at Ashmount Country House was amazing. The room was well appointed and very clean. The welcome was warm and friendly, we arrived very early and had no issues parking the car and doing a little sightseeing before check-in. The food was excellent quality, nicely presented and plentiful. The owner and staff were all friendly and helpful. The outlook from Ashmount is very pleasant and the proximity to Haworth and the Brontë Parsonage museum fantastic with local walks a plenty, luckily we’re from Derbyshire so hills are the norm, if you’re from flatter areas then you need to put some gym time in. Ashmount is a beautiful place to stay, I’d definitely recommend this gem

Hotel with a stunning view
We stayed for 1 night at the Ashmount hotel, we only met 2 members of staff during our stay & they were both friendly & helpful, we were personally shown to our room which was a lovely touch. The room ‘Amos Ingham’ looked over the garden & the dales so the views were spectacular, the room was clean & had a very comfortable 4 poster bed, there were coffee, tea making facilities & shortbread biscuits, there was also complimentary sherry & glasses which we thought was a lovely touch. The bathroom was small with a step up to the toilet & shower, the basin was loose probably due to people holding on to it to get down from the step, & although the shower was very good it was too big for a small cubicle.

Secret Garden Hot Tub Room
This place is amazing, we really enjoyed our stay and having your own hot tub to use when you want, cant get much better. Rose petal, chocs and prosecco on arrival and we enjoyed the Beef Bourguignon and chips for our evening meal. We would definitely stay again
