I have stayed here a few times and this time i had the worst room ever had. I heard this constant humming which i found out afterwards was due to the room backing onto the plant room, so hardly slept. This room is not fit to let out or improve sound proofing. The last 2 times here haven't been great so will be looking for somewhere else.

Lovely stay, the room was lovely and cosy with really nice touches such as tea facilities with lots of biscuits and chocolate! Bed was super comfy and the bathroom was great. The staff was exceptionally friendly

Overall the hotel is really nice. Comfortable rooms. Very clean. A nice touch with the little chocolates Booked a table through the hotel reception when i checked in, however when i went over at the designated time it was another story There did not seem to be a booking and kept waiting for ages even though there were tables available. Luckily there was a gentleman at the bar that clocked the situation and came across and took charge and sorted it out. Cant see why the staff in the restaurant could not have done it so really glad he did Other than that i enjoyed the stay

The Green Man Hotel is an ideal place to stay near Harlow. The restaurant is very good, with good choice and great staff. We did have a small problem with breakfast the next day where they were understaffed. We order breakfast as part of our room rate, however, we did not get seen for over 20 mins and had to go. Requested a refund for the breakfast, which after some discussion, was agreed. We will definitely stay again, but may not request breakfast.

Great staff, but let down by the room.
Second time of staying here and the room wasn't as good this time. There were bits on the carpet, the sink smelt when used of drainage and the shower head sprayed everywhere other than it should. Think more maintenance is required. The staff are excellent though.

Overall good place to stay
Overall a good stay and the room was clean, but would suggest water in the room and also my milk, etc wasnt repleneshed on day 2. Good food in the pub and all staff are very pleasant.
