The hotel was about a 10 minute drive from the city centre of fort william, right in the loch with ample parking, a restaurant and bar. The hotel itself was quite old fashioned with, the lifts and beds were squeeky, carpets old and there was a plastic border under the window that had fallen off revealing debris. Some plug sockets near the bed would also have been handy. It was a decent hotel and good location, could just do with a sprucing up.

Rooms were tidy and clean. The doors were old and noisy to close. Need to update wardrobes to bring it more up to date. Otherwise our stay was lovely
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms could use updating and beds could be improved

Rude reception staff
The reception staff were extremely rude and said I didn’t have a booking when I clearly did. This caused a lot of stress at the start of my trip.

We booked a loch view room which we got, however there was scaffolding outside. We were not advised about this.
We were told at check in if we wanted to eat in the dining room there was no need to book, so we didnt. When we got to the dining room we couldnt get a table because we hadnt booked!!
However we did eat in the bar area and the pizza was very good.
The room was very basic and tired looking, a bit like a sub-standard Premier Inn.
The reception and bar areas had been recently refreshed and looked nice.
The breakfast staff were lovely, very efficient and friendly.
A very good stay, value for money.Staff went out of their way to provide me with a walk in shower not a bath.
Very convenient on our way up through Scotland and back down again.
Would use again.
Very old property which needs a lot of maintenance. Noisy from the room above ours. Bar staff very helpful and friendly. Located well out of Fort William so need to drive anywhere.

Helpful front desk. Barman was abrupt and unfriendly
Reception a bit confused otherwise fine. Heating on so warm.
Breakfast good though bit confused the Fruit and Yoghurt was not with the cereal, otherwise good
Overnight stop whilst travelling south on way home to London.
Did what it said on the tin and whilst no issues with either food or service hotel is very tired looking and needs a lot of money spent on it to bring it in to the 21st century.
Room overlooked car park and scaffolding as opposed to the much and was very dark/small and dingy.
Parking ok but quite a bit out of Fort William (40 minute walk).
Would not stay here again

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean. The building is old and the carpets should be replaced. There was exterior construction and there wasn’t a lot of parking. It was ok for a one night stay but wouldn’t want to stay longer than that.
