We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and I have to say the breakfast was incredibly disappointing. Each morning, we were served the exact same plate, and I mean the same plate—untouched food from the first day was still there on the second, and by the third day, I had to tell them to throw it out because it was likely stale. It was clear there was no effort put into the breakfast at all. The staff were unhelpful and clueless about anything related to the meals. If you’re expecting a decent breakfast, avoid this hotel. You’re better off staying somewhere without breakfast and eating out instead. Room was below average as the shower wasn’t working, it was fixed the second night. There was no soap or shower gel in the bathroom, after asking 2/3 times they put a liquid hand soap on the third day. Would not recommend staying here. Not worth it.
If everywhere else is fully booked then it’s fine. Other than that, the bedsheets were threadbare and had stains on them but as we had just arrived from a long haul flight we were too tired to care. The bathroom was run down with mould and a broken bit on the bath/shower. Massive spider in the bath. Breakfast was okay .
There were mice in the room and large i mean large spiders running around caught one in a glass to show the staff also bed sheets had stains all over it never slept a minute
There was no daily house keeping 4 days till asked if room needed cleaning walls dirty,drink stains on bed side cupboards,tooth paste on sink,and bandaid on floor when checked in. Breakfast area never vacuumed in 6 days and cereal on floor tables wiped down anything food stuck to table left there. If you want cheep no frills for 2 days it's ok asked for something to be done girls said have to ask my manager and slow wouldn't let you know
We slept like rocks. The hotel staff were very accomodating and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Very nice breakfasts. Well communicated by train, bus and bicycle via the path running all the way to Glasgow and Bullock. Thank you ☺️
The owner was very kind and helpful. The establishment was not very clean. The bathroom had layers of yuck on the mop boards and there was a glob of what I hope was mud on the bathroom door. The shower pressure was low, but the water was hot. There were only two towels for three adults this was inconvenient. The room had not been vacuumed in the recent past either. The beds were sufficient for our needs and the the pillows were nice. Over all we were tired and it met our needs, but if I had little children I would stay elsewhere. It also was not as close to the airport as the description implied.
So full English no bacon or sausages sausage was some plant based thing
