A really beautiful hotel – recently decorated to a very high standard. Its location was very quiet just outside Cirencester. The restaurant was excellent and staff could not have been more helpful. The garden is outstanding and it was lovely to be able to eat outside during the hot weather in the evening. We did not use the spa facilities, but they looked beautiful and in such a superb setting.

A great place to stay.
The staff at Stratton House could not be faulted, they were friendly, accommodating and the service was excellent. We had a dinner for 18 on one night in the Stratton suite to celebrate our charity day of wingwalking at a nearby airfield, (Charla was very pleasant in the arrangements for this) and bar snacks outside on the terrace for 8 on another night. The breakfast were extremely filling, although an omelette option for eggs was not available. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed it thoroughly. One pair of friends, however, had a difficult night as the bed was not at all comfortable for them. We would definitely stay again.

A really pleasant hotel with big comfy rooms and great staff. Breakfast amazing! Lounge eating area has tables too high for the chairs provided which makes eating there v uncomfortable but staff swapped for more appropriate chairs very promptly when asked.

Lovely comfortable room with bath en suite. Evening meal was delicious and service was very good. Staff were very helpful when we were joined by our daughter's family for breakfast. Have been several times and will be staying there again.

Absolutely top draw hotel, independently owned all staff excellent and happy, lovely surroundings, 20min walk to Cirencester, taxis few and far between so book in advance if you need one. Fantastic local pub 50yards outside the entrance, Sunday roast to die for
