They wouldn't give us access to the property and refused to refund our money! You have to pay them seperately for a deposit through a link they send you with your credit card - dicey and then it wouldn't take my US card so they wouldn't let us in after we paid for the whole stay on Expedia and refused to refund our stay when I cancelled on the spot. Nothing good to say, plus the area is a dump and the apt is located above a very dirty, grungy deli - not good!

Too cold
Booking process was stressful due to need for late self check in. On the phone I was told that was possible, but afterwards I got emails saying I was not going to be let into the appartment after 11pm. Called several times each time a new person picking up the phone giving me inconsistent information. After many attempts I got the instructions for self check in on the same day I was traveling. That made me feel very uncomfortable since I was traveling with my little daughters. I started thinking on a fallback plan in case I was left outside at midnight. However, everything worked fine in the end in terms of getting in. The flat was extremly cold though. My daughter suffered a lot since it took more than 2 hours to have it heated. Everything else in good order.

We were disappointed when we were told after paying and booking that there was an additional 30 pound fee for late check-in. When we arrived, there wasn't a person to hand over the key, but a lock-box, so not sure why there was the additional charge. On top of that, we called the person at the office to get the code and we were given the wrong code and had to call back. None of this would be a big deal, but we were standing in the freezing cold rain with no shelter. They asked us for proof of address in the UK, on top of copy of identification. I wrote this off as a formality that is similar to most hotels, though even 5 star hotels don't ask for this much information. And honestly, this is not even close to a hotel. The furnishing are cheap, the double bed is actually two mattresses pushes together. The "radiator" (portable heater that was mounted to the wall) was ripped off the wall in the bedroom, and there were singe marks on the carpet so we were scared to turn on the heater for fear of starting a fire.There is also no heater in the bathroom. The hot water also ran out between just two people. The worst part was we got sick because of the lack of heating, the window had been left open when we arrived so it was freezing. We checked out late because we misunderstood check out time, so when the cleaner arrived, I opened the door to let her in while I packed my things (it was cold outside). She stood in the doorway, letting cold in, took my photo on her phone for her boss!

No hot water for 2 days and therefore no showers for 2 days. Staff would not able to fix. It was located over commercial properties downstairs. Garbage piled up at the entrance to the apartments. A lot of flies got in to the apartment.

The property was unacceptable for renting. When we first walked in the sofa had huge stains on it and it only got worst when we entered the bathroom where we found large amounts of mold on the bathroom ceiling. Management said that they could not move us for 3 days and were not very understanding of our situation.

2n floor flat in middle of nowhere
Freezing cold flat hard to find down an alley with no parking. Access by metal stairs and balcony covered with snow and ice treacherous to navigate. Worse Expedia rental ever by far- ashamed to take my wife there. Heating a joke - never warmed up. Access by meeting a unidentified person in alley in dark then charged a fee for not vacating without notice and over my objection. Total disaster out of a bad movie. I blame Expedia for listing this dump

Driveway entrance was boggy and muddy, making luggage difficult to get to door. Blinds were damaged in most rooms and would not open properly. Bathroom was average. Significant street noise. Heating was good. Overall, needed a good clean but was adiquate for our stay. Good proximity to shops nearby.

We stayed between Christmas and New Years. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did have one problem with the lock on the door which was immediately taken care of. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The only issue that we had was that the main living space was somewhat uncomfortable because it was always cold.
