Could have been better!
On arrival told we had been upgraded to a family room as they were over booked. Checked into room to find it freezing cold, when informed reception was told “oh yes the heating is broken in that room”. Moved to another room that had a wall heater that worked.
Very tired hotel with stains on the carpets in the room. Needs a good update and refurbishment!
Sheets were stained so is the towels.
House keep didnt do requested hoovering. Overall our stay was okay. Some of the staff mebers weren't very welcoming or professional. However some of them did wonderful job. Even tho i been double charged due to 3rd party problems. I only been informed on arrivel. Also try to tripple charge me for a late check out. Location good. Its an okay place for a quick rest or a short getaway.
Would not recommend staying here over festive period due to excess noise, constant banging of doors.
We had an early flight so position of hotel was ideal.
The hotel was not busy. As a family we arrived late and we got put next to someone suffering from mental health issues or was homeless!
The noise, arguing was beyond, constant banging hard of doors. I got up to see what issues were and was confronted my 3 police men who was escorted person out as there has been an incident.
I thought after that it would get quieter but no the banging continued. We had no sleep felt so annoyed as never tried Ramada before, such a bad experience.
Previously stayed here and it’s on our ‘go to’ list for when we need to be in the area for work or visiting friends and family who live in the area and stretching down to Highbridge, so it’s convenient being next to the M5. As always, warm welcome from reception, hotel looks and smells fresh and clean, hotel room clean and some deep cleaning over a quiet period would bring it to sparkling. Bed lovely and firm, bedding crisp and good quality and good pillows. The service area is behind the hotel with Waitrose, Burger King, KFC and WH Smith plus Starbucks. Handy to pop to on the odd occasion. Not a luxury ‘away’ break but a very comfortable and pleasant ‘need to’ break. We opt for room 31 where possible as it has an easy accessible bath and space to move around the bed ……. Helps with my mobility issues; which are not severe but it makes things pleasant for me. Will be staying here again in future without doubt.
Well managed by Vas although it's clear he has his hands full leading some of his newer team members. We are staying for 11 days due to family illness and Vas in particular has been so very helpful. Great to have the service area on the doorstep; has made it easy to source provisions when needed, and there is a washing machine / tumble dryer bank in the service area which is very handy.
Room was ok.
Very dated & carpets could do with replacing or a real good clean.
Bed was very comfortable & plenty of hanging & draw space for clothes.
It was really the bathroom - especially the shower that let the room down.
Staff were friendly & efficient.
Food was reasonable but not great - chicken pasta was very very bland & without any real flavour.
The Dinner / Breakfast deal for £26 (I think) was very reasonable.
Not great, wouldn't say very clean, drawers had some sticky goo on top and the showers had black mould all in the silicon.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Stayed here after a cancelled flight so very impromptu. The main reception area and bar/restaurant looked nice. (Didn’t eat or drink there so can’t comment any more than that).
On the surface the family room looked nice and spacious although a very musty spell on entry. There was a stain on the bed, red wine stains on the carpet and the window let a lot of noise and breeze in. The room was cold on arrival, but there was a wall heater which did heat the room quickly.
The bathroom was modern and such a shame it seemed to not have a decent clean for some time. All bathrooms get mould etc, however these things can be resolved relatively easily!
Was within a good location to cribbs/M5 and relatively cheaply priced in comparison to hotels nearby. Personally, we would have preferred to pay a little more and have a clean environment to stay!
