The majestic city on the hill and the Athens of the west did not disappoint. Your property is uniquely beautiful like a precious gem on the emerald necklace aka Boston Massachusetts.

Unfortunately at this time I would rate this hotel a ⭐️⭐️ reasons : I had to add another night because I was told over the phone they can not give me an early check in . No problem I book another room for 1 night (which we were actually going to be arriving around 7am then having to check out by 11am (I think) to check back in to our “actual” rooms (I had 2 rooms there was 4 of us) anyways I sent a message to the hotel letting them know I would not be there until around 7am I received a confirmation the hotel received my message . We show up shortly after 7am and they had marked me as a “NO SHOW” I have a screen shot of the conversation of me notifying the hotel of my arrival time so they instead check us into both our rooms for a1-$25 “early check in fee” even though they would not refund, credit or put me in my room I already paid in full for in the amount of $135 . I am not happy with the customer care or lack of that I received . Just was a huge bummer to deal with something so avoidable or the hotel could of at the very least given me a credit as I’m staying 3 nights total and paid for 4 nights and that early check in fee . Also our room smelt like dog when we walked in it (I love animals I have a dog but that’s not what you smell walking in my home) so we had to go to CVS (in the rain, of course) and get a room spray . If the hotel makes this right I will re-review …TBD #hamptoninnseaportboston

Room is Clean and spacious, but the bed mattress is too soft to backbone health. Staff is nice. Breakfast is good and convenient although it is crowded. Onsite parking is too expensive , so it is better to park your vehicle in the outside parking lots.

Not the best stay, not the worst.
Usually we book Hampton Inn because it has always been reliable for us in terms of room cleanliness and comfiest. We're generally not picky, especially on one night stays. Checkin was first a little off putting, We were told they did not have a room with a king bed that we booked available, then after i declined a room with two beds the woman at the desk said "Actually we have a king bed here's your room". She was not rude, just not friendly. Upon walking into the room, the carpet seemed to have been recently steamed or cleaned, the entire room smelled "wet" or "damp". It stayed that way the whole night. Our bathroom was not fully cleaned, it had someone else's hair all over the shower floor. The walls were incredibly thin as well, we could hear anyone walking down the hall even if they were just simply walking. We could hear almost every conversation in the rooms adjacent to us. Our bed and pillows were also not comfortable at all, very worn out. Not our best stay, but not the worst either. For the price however, I'd suggest looking at the many other nearby hotels for a better experience. I will say though that the manager was extremely kind when we ran into him, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also hot and ready at 5:30 am which was a huge plus!

Nothing against the property itself, but you would think the seaport district near Boston downtown would be a hive of activity. Rather, the location is lonely with not many dining options nearby and no options on the property itself. You also are not informed of the $60 per night valet-only parking option until you book the property and then get an email. Rooms are very nice and clean.

We enjoyed our stay here. We availed of the valet parking which was $60. I thought this a little excessive but exorbitant parking rates seem to be a Boston thing. The hotel has an excellent breakfast, and a great gym and even better indoor pool. I recommend the nearby Harpoon brewery and the Chickadee Mediterranean restaurant but seriously $60 for parking?

Impressed with how quiet this place was—not true for another hotel in the area I also stayed in. Looked very new, clean, renovated. Hotel was full and very busy with a conference in town but there was still plenty for breakfast.

I enjoyed the water view from my room. I also enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. The one thing I really did not enjoy was the toilet paper. It was not soft. For the price that I paid, I expected good toilet paper.
