The person who checked us in was lovely. The room was fine. The view was great. We ate in the restaurant and the food was okay. The service in the restaurant for dinner was terrible. After dropping off our meals, we never saw the server again. Sat there for 45 minutes before we left and the front desk person tracked down the bill for the meal and charged it to our room.
Great hotel with lovely staff - especially Sophie who drove us to our restaurant when the taxi didn’t turn up. Lovely location and excellent atmosphere
The room was beautiful and so was the view!
We loved the staff that served us through dinner. Food was amazing, drinks were tasty. Thank you again for such a lovely stay.
Great hotel, full of character features that you’d expect from a property built in 1225 but internally the rooms and communal areas were modern and extremely clean. Fantastic hotel
Nice helpful staff, good environment and clean.. well apportioned rooms.
WiFi not accessible from the room but worked well in common areas.
Evening meal was very nice although slightly on the pricy side.
