Best 4 Star Hotels in Hayes Valley

"The hotel was great, we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. The location is great, close to lots of shops and restaurants. The only thing I struggled with was the $100 per night deposit, that can add up quickly if you’re staying for a good length of time. I’m also never a fan of resort fees, it’s broken into two categories plus taxes making the overall rate an extra $45.72 per night. I understand that the “resort” fee is pay for the amenities such as the pool, gym, wifi and any other services that are provided, I would just rather pay a flat rate, and have it built into the nightly rate. We enjoyed San Francisco, it is a fantastic city and I’d definitely like to come back when the weather is a nicer. "

"Good location just a block away from Pier 39. Trader Joe's and Walgreens nearby. The F Trolley which takes you to BART is within a block. Easy for public transportation and activities. They give a small bottle of water to each person at check in; a bottle per person per day would be an even nicer gesture. We left our bags with Bell Service after checkout until late evening pickup for flight. Enjoyed our stay. "
