The actual property was fresh and updated with a vintage vibe. The markdown was because they didn’t have enough people at the front desk at check in or check out which created a longer wait- large travel groups being processed both times, so it took 15 mins to check in and 10 to leave. Staff was very helpful though. Cleanliness was great, except that the sofa bed was wrinkled and we ended up finding a game boy switch cartridge in the sheets the final day, which confirmed it fear that the sheets hadn’t been changed. They have us a nominal credit for that, but still gross. Bar was nice Di had a $10 credit I was unaware of. Close to the theater district and union square- again a couple blocks from seedy Tenderloin. Stay on Geary while walking and you’re all good! 1 block away, O’Farrell and Ellis garage = $39 a night parking, so we saved on the hotel $75 a night valet.
