My husband and I are in our seventies, and have traveled extensively. This was the single worst experience in our long lives. We arrived at midnight having flown from the East Coast, exhausted. Our first room had no heat, no thermostat, and the bed was broken - the mattress was at a 45 degree angle, impossible to lie on without falling off. The second room, next door to the first, had no light in the bathroom. Finally we moved to the 8th floor to a very nice room with heat. Is it Hilton policy to put guests in lesser rooms if booked through Expedia? I have been a Hilton Honors member for over 30 years, and vow to never return to a doubletree. Or to ever again book through a third party
