"The hotel staff were very helpful with all needs and the breakfast was first rate. The lack of air conditioning was overcome by openning the window and the surrounding neighborhood was quiet enough to sleep peacefully. The single elevator required some patience but was quick once it arrived."

"First of all, the staff for this property was AMAZING! Mehdi, Hakeem and Paul were helpful in every way, Important to note: this property does not have a lift/elevator and is an old British building which means narrow, steep stairs. The staff will carry your bags for you, but climbing 5 flights of stairs left me winded! My single room was clean and comfortable, but very small. Dimensions were roughly 6 feet wide by 8 feet long. All in all, I loved the quirkiness of the building and as a smaller person in relatively good shape, did not mind the drawbacks. However, I can imagine others would have been surprised by these conditions. Still, I would not hesitate to book here again!"
