There was a roach in the bathroom room and spider crawling on the ceiling. When we got to the room the carpet was soaked. AC would turn on and off every 2 mins. At 5 AM there was someone building furniture in front of our door and there were bangs on our door. When I opened the door boxes came falling in. He was using our door to lean the boxes on. When I spoke to front desk about it all we were told was oh I’m sorry. Anything else? I will not stay here again.

We found a dead ant on our bed, the corridors smelled like mold, the shower head had visible mold on it & you could see the rust on the pipes under the bathroom sink. Had to go to the front desk to activate the key card twice because it stopped working. Breakfast was ok. Location was great. Staff was nice. Will not be staying here again & wouldnt recommend anyone to due to the lack of cleanliness that should be a basic requirement

Only giving this a two-star rating due to two separate instances on the same day where staff came knocking on our door and attempted to enter our room while we were there. At no time did the front desk ever tell us during check-in than any sort of Maintenance or anything had to be done during our stay and that they needed to have access to our room or even permission to enter while we were there or even when we were gone. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!! The first attempt we made it to the door and time before we heard them attempting to enter our room. The second time we were dead asleep and I barely made it to the door to answer. Had to hide behind it as I was not dressed properly. Again, I managed to get to the door before they attempted to open our room. If this hotel has the habit of letting their staff just enter a guest's room without prior authorization or letting them know, this is wrong. After this incident I did not a safe here or feel like like the hotel treated their guests with respect and courtesy.

I booked this hotel because of walkable distance to Universal. I was happy with my overall stay/ value for the money.The staff were friendly, rooms clean, however the hotel needs an upkeep, the breakfast had limited choices and the pool wasn't cleaned on regular basis.

One of the closest hotels to Universal Studios, breakfast is consistently a little better than the average hotel in this class. Still need at least fifteen min to walk to the security gate (go to the valet entrance).

Great hotel and very close to Universal Studios. Free shuttle in the morning and 24 hour coffee available at no charge. Very comfy bed.

Had several issues with the key cards not working when we first got checked in and then once they just stopped working during our stay, staff was nice and quick to fix any issues, beds were comfy and breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast, if that’s not your thing there’s a Burger King in the same parking lot. Overall nice stay and convenient if going universal

AC was leaking. Ants in the room. When complained the front desk offered a different room but that room was old and not renovated so we declined and decided to stay in same room. The hotel fixed the ac next day and made the room carpet dry. Breakfast was nice and so was the reception area. Room quality can be improved and also housekeeping.

Great place, cleand nice staff. My daughter and I stayed there for 5 days while we went to Universal. They had a shuttle in the morning and although its a long walk (for some people), its def doable at about a mile. Since we were already doing 8 or 10 miles of walking a day at the parks, what's a little more. :)
