My first stay at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid was one of true decadence and ease. Before we even walked through the doors, we were greeted at the car for our luggage to be collected with the most care and joy-filled staff. The check-in process was rather seamless and again the staff showcased the ultimate care for us.
The hotel is a showroom that is both inviting, warm, cozy and opulent. The scent awakens all the emotions of what a beautiful stay in the equally beautiful city of Madrid should feel like.
The gym, pool and spa services were impeccable. I enjoyed both a massage and facial and was thoroughly impressed by the level of skill and care from my therapist as well as the entire spa staff. I would only recommend that the pool area remain open longer- at least until 11pm.
I enjoyed in-room dinning, at which I was very impressed as well. This experience goes down in my travel journal as a top 5 best in-room dinning I've experienced. The cuisine was excellent but, more over, the staff was incredibly meticulous and caring.
Breakfast in the main resturant is beautiful and delicious with beautiful bright natural lighting pouring in and an array of selection.
I cannot wait to return and make The Ritz Madrid my newest hotel tradition.
