Beautiful, clean, quiet with a nice lobby
This was a beautiful hotel located on the UCLA campus. My family and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the LA area. The college campus has beautiful buildings and manicured gardens for walking. We were there during winter break so it was pretty quiet and buildings were not open. When we checked in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were provided with a list of restaurants in the area and a map of campus. The lobby has seating for relaxing. The room was clean and quiet. My only complaint is that the pillows were very small. Otherwise the room was comfortable and big enough for a family of 4. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant one night. Staff was friendly and polite. Food was delicious. We parked in the garage under the hotel. Price was about $40 per night and allowed in and out privileges.

A special thank you to our waiter Mr. Colenri (spelling ?) He was so attentive, helpful and most of all a comforting message of hope as we were taking my son in for an exam at Jules Stein. His eyesight had recently faded to nothing, and the Dr. was able to give us some answers. His kind words were a wonderful way to start our day. He was also a very good waiter. He was on the morning shieft around 7:30 on 12/19.. Hope the good report comes back for him.

Super convenient for UCLA. But I was mainly working in Westside and Beverly Hills. It is an ideal spot to get to BHills and Westside in under 15 mins in all directions. Because it is used as a conference hotel for the University and as a student study spot it can be pretty busy in the public spaces, but it is not noisy. Food service and restaurant is good. I will use this as my base in future.

This property is less than 10 years old, and is really nice. My room was an excellent size and included great features from excellent water pressure in the shower to very comfortable beds. The location is excellent as you are within walking distance of numerous dining and drinking options, and is located in what I would consider a very safe area. Every staff encounter I had was excellent, all very friendly and knowledgeable. The property also features an in house bar/restaurant that has a good variety of options. I will definitely be staying here again next time I come to LA on business.
