Aida (receptionist) was amazingly helpful. Housekeeping staff was friendly and quick to bring more linen when needed. The property was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was good, it included omelets, pancakes & more. Free parking was a perk we don’t see very often anymore and a reason to stay here again.

The hotel was okay. It was reasonably clean and the staff was very friendly. However, the hotel is located in a bad area. Very dirty with trash piled on the streets and homeless drug addicts everywhere. The view from the window in the 5th floor hallway was an alleyway filled with vagrants doing drugs. Not a safe area!

The hotel was great, the area outside the hotel has homeless people camped out and it makes it unsafe to venture out late at night.

The inside of the hotel is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The big issue I have with this hotel is that it is located in the GETTO! Garbage, tents, homeless people, and junkies are all within a 1-mile radius surrounding this hotel. My heart stopped when I got closer and closer to it. Inside parking helps, but the feeling of someone crawling into your room is still there. They have measures in place, like locked doors and key-enabled elevators, but still did not make me feel safe. In addition, there is a terrible smell throughout the hotel as they use some cheap chemicals to clean it. It's in the lobby and the rooms. It was hard to sleep. I booked the hotel for 3 nights, and on the 2nd night, I had to get out of there. I would only recommend this hotel if you have thick skin and a gun.

Despite the hotel's location, the exceptional staff surpass the service of a typical 5-star hotel. Their friendliness and professionalism make guests feel welcome and at home. The hotel's cleanliness is impressive, and the well-prepared, abundant, and delicious breakfast, especially Mrs. Mara's oatmeal, adds to the positive experience. Despite the area not being safe for walking, the hotel's clean and new rooms make it worth considering a return visit.

We booked here because it was close to the Mexican Consulate office. The hotel was clean and appeared to have hard working staff. The only problem was the location. There was a large number of homeless and drug addicted people loitering around the businesses on the same block. There was. An alleyway nearby with a large amount of homeless people. It amazes me that the businesses can stay by open with the garbage and stench that is produced when people take no pride in their neighborhoods. The day we left we noticed police cars and city workers picking up trash but, too late the bad impression had already been made. If you have to stay at this hotel, well it was clean and the people were nice.

The hotel was very nice as was the staff, friendly and helpful. Our room was on 3rd floor overlooking the street. It is not located in the best part of Downtown the street was very noisy especially early morning with cars honking, city waste management picking up commercial trash cans made it difficult to sleep.
