I didn’t like the Fact that as soon as I came in they pushed very hard to sell their premium membership and their Time share Packages …. Taking too much off my time

The property is in a nice location and the buildings have a beautiful architecture however they need maintenance in some areas. Staff was very nice and attentive.The pool areas are nice and clean.The restaurant options did not meet our expectations. Other than the breakfast buffet that was varied and delicious the other restaurants were below average. The japanese restaurant Sansai would have been better if the AC and extractors worked. It was the worse meal because it was so hot from having the restaurant full of people and four HIbachis working all at the same time, that we had to pause because we were perspiring so much. We didn't enjoy our meal because of the heat. The poor chefs were sweating bullets. When we were done and walked out of the restaurant, it was cooler outside! That should give you an idea of how hot it was inside. After that experience we ate outside the resort the last 2 nights. Sadly, the hotel and restaurants specifically did not meet our expectations.

Overall, we had a great experience. The rooms could definitely use some updating (and we were in an upgraded room). It was fairly easy to make reservations to dinner at the a la carte restaurants and the food was good. Bar staff at the pool was amazing and friendly.

The property was lovely and well maintained and the staff was very polite and helpful but the restaurants were very disappointing. Many were without air conditioning and when we tried to make reservations at two of them we were told they were closed on Mondays. The food was quite mediocre.
