The location is so superb! Less than 5 minutes by foot to the main attractions of Brussels. It is a big deal in terms of quality and price that you can get. It drew my attention to all the old-fashioned decoration, reminding you that you are staying in an XIX-century room. What an experience!

The receptionist was annoying, talking a lot, and made terrible jokes. The shower door was broken. The shower itself was broken. The window was broken. The TV was broken. The next room people were like sitting in my room because of zero insulation. In the middle of the night, there was a terrible smoking smell either from other rooms or from outside. The people taking care of the breakfast area were very noisy and they were shouting between each other.

The receptionist lady who checked me in was amazing. Checkin was to begin at 2:30pm, I arrived early at 11:30am and she immediately gave me the keys to my room. The room itself is small, a bit outdated and has no air conditioning but the halls, reception area, staircases and pretty much the rest of the hotel are gorgeous, you feel as if you’re in a Moroccan riad. The location is perfect, a 1 min walk from the Grand Place and there are dozens of delicious restaurants just downstairs. The free breakfast in the morning was very basic; a pre set plate with a fresh, big, fluffy, buttery and flaky croissant and another piece of whole grain bread. They also leave orange juice and come ask if you want coffee or tea. It was basic but it was honestly delicious and enough to start the day. Definitely need to stay here again on my next visit to Brussels

The room furnishings might be a bit dated (squeaking metal bed frame), but the Moroccan décor is fantastic. - The staff is friendly and the location couldn't be more convenient (five minutes walk from Central railway station, Grand Place and Manneken Pis.)

Property location was great can’t fault it, close to everything. The hotel is on the old side which adds to its character however it was quite warm and no air conditioning so the room was a little stuffy. The bed was really hard and not very comfortable. The hotel was clean. Apart from that they offered a continental breakfast and the staff were lovely. The owner was really nice came back one night to find him entertaining some guests dancing and balancing a tray with a teapot and cups on his head. Quite a character. Would recommend this hotel based on location and friendly owner.

A neat quirky hotel in the main part of town. Close to all the attractions and the owner was there to chat with us upon arrival. I focus on cleanliness and location and this hotel exceeded at both. Add to that the charm and you are all set. Would definitely stay here again.

Rude Receptionist, giving wrong information. (Sending Disabled Elderly People to the Third Floor, when the whole property is a maze of staircases and the room was in fact on the 1st Floor!) Drunken Men standing outside guest rooms shouting. DISMAL Breakfast with No Choice whatsoever!

Avoid! Do yourself a favour a book somewhere else
The hotel is old and dirty and the staff/owner is rude. We told him we didn’t want to stay and he still charged two nights, not honouring the one night cancellation fee. Over all is was a terrible experience, but the worst is the dodgy business he has in the basement, which we accidentally saw :(

Good location, lacks the basics
The hotel's location is ideal, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, situated in a prime tourist area filled with restaurants and shops. The lobby and overall decor are impressive, exuding a high-class atmosphere. However, the room experience was disappointing. The carpet was dirty and had long hairs from the previous guest. In the bathroom, the soap and shampoo dispensers were non-functional, the shower doors didn't close properly, and the shower head holder was partially broken, forcing you to hold the shower head while washing.

Perfect location/ enjoyable stay
Perfect location to explore the city. Moroccan decor throughout. Room small but comfortable for a couple of days. Owner very friendly, played piano at breakfast. Continental breakfast is pretty much a break and a croissant, very good coffee tough. Plenty of bars and places to eat nearby. Close to Brussels Central station. Overall a very enjoyable stay

The tip of the iceberg was hearing someone trying to open the door several times at 1.30am i thought to be a drunken guest. This continued with force only to which i opened the door to the manager/owner who wanted to discuss a payment issue. Had no remorse or understanding that it was completely inappropriate to enter without permission and refused to wait until the morning to discuss what had gone wrong. Luckily i had locked the door and kept the key in the lock.
