The receptionist lady who checked me in was amazing. Checkin was to begin at 2:30pm, I arrived early at 11:30am and she immediately gave me the keys to my room. The room itself is small, a bit outdated and has no air conditioning but the halls, reception area, staircases and pretty much the rest of the hotel are gorgeous, you feel as if you’re in a Moroccan riad.
The location is perfect, a 1 min walk from the Grand Place and there are dozens of delicious restaurants just downstairs. The free breakfast in the morning was very basic; a pre set plate with a fresh, big, fluffy, buttery and flaky croissant and another piece of whole grain bread. They also leave orange juice and come ask if you want coffee or tea.
It was basic but it was honestly delicious and enough to start the day. Definitely need to stay here again on my next visit to Brussels
