Staff was great. Breakfast was good. Only thing is I could tell the room had not been vacuumed as I found a piece of plastic and a pill on the carpet.

no housekeeping?!?
I was surprised to not have any housekeeping come after our first of two night stay. We came back too late the second night to request it. When I told the front desk at check out the next morning, I received a vague apology and that I could have put my garbage outside the door if I wanted. There is no door hanger to request housekeeping, nor was there any signage in the room saying that there would not be any housekeeping. I understand the desire to conserve water & use towels for a second time, but for the price of $250/night, garbage should be emptied and the room straightened. I was not impressed by this lack of customer service from a Hampton Inn.

we got to the hotel at 4pm my room wasn't ready till 6pm i had a 4 hour drive i was tired and wanted to nap and payed almost 400 dollars to look at the roof that was our view and I can hear the car's off the freeway wow what a vacation

Great place to stay that is centrally located between Avila Beach and SLO. Room was very spacious, quiet and very friendly staff. They provide many options for breakfast, however the dining area was just a tad small. More people than seating availability.

Great experience!
This stay was so comfortable and perfect for our trip! The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast and 12pm checkout were exactly what we needed after staying up late for a wedding. We also brought our dogs and asked for a room by the stairs for convenient potty breaks which was easily accommodated. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great value
Excellent value. Very comfortable bed and clean room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the breakfast was just average.
