Door codes will be texted to you on day of arrival. Please note that check IN time is 3pm. When other guests check out at 11am, we to do our best to get it ready for you by 3pm.
to OPEN lock, press the small button Schlage, then enter your 4 digit door code. Push down on door handle and the door should open.
To lock from inside, pull door handle straight up vertical to engage 2 hooks inside door. Then, simply turn the deadbolt to lock.
To LOCK from OUTSIDE, just press the schlage button. It will make a sound as it locks. then, you may test it to make sure.

PET FREE Residences - Pets and animals are not allowed in our building under any circumstances. This is for the health and safety of current and future guests and owner's allergies. We appreciate your cooperation. Please search for "Pet-Friendly" listings if you wish to bring your animal. There is a generous number of Pet-Friendly listings that have play and convenience areas for your pet.
SMART SPEAKERS: -Some of the units in the building are supplied with an Amazon smart speaker for guests to use for playing music, asking questions, etc. Although it is not considered a recording device, if guests feel uncomfortable with the device, we ask them to please unplug it during their stay.
Security Cameras: Note the building is equipped with a video surveillance camera to monitor public spaces. We've had a few instances where there were large parties so the camera was installed to monitor these situations both for the safety of our guests and the hosts.
CONSTRUCTION: There is occasionally planned public street improvements in the neighborhood which can temporarily affect power and water services.
Hosts are normally given adequate warning and will let you know prior to any service disruptions. However emergency repairs are possible. As for residential construction, a city ordinance of San Diego prohibits residential construction between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Should you hear any noise during those dates, please be sure to contact the host ASAP so we can cite the offenders. Outside of those dates, there may be intermittent noise from construction during the day in the neighborhood.

One parking spot designated for Unit.# 4. As you drive south towards the property, turn right on any street such as Capistrano and then left on Strandway. Our building is the last building on the left side on Strandway. You'll see two parking spaces, please park in space #4. Once you park, you can just walk most everywhere (beach, bay, restaurants/bars/cafes, grocery, etc). The bus stop is just a little north of us.
It is about 7 mile Uber/taxi ride to the airport.
Bikes are available to rent just up the street. But walking is just fine if you want to concentrate on beach time.
A car is helpful if you want to get to the farther attractions in San Diego such as LegoLand and the Safari Park or if you have a child that needs a car seat.
Otherwise, the best way to get around is to use Uber/Lyft/Bird Scooters/and Lime Bikes... Combining these services is fun and affordable!

Super close to the water....2 min walk to the ocean beach/pier or 5 min to the bayside. We are ONE house away from the water! Within a7 min. walk to pizza/market/liquor store/bar/laundromat.
If you require early check-in we are able to accommodate for $25 additional fee - Please notify us at least 4-5 days in advance. If you check out late, it is a $50 fee.
