We loved being right on Pacific Beach. Plenty of sights and things to do, good restaurants close by. The restaurant next door, "World Famous" was excellent. Hotel staff was very responsive to our needs and the property was very clean. All in all a very good stay. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved the hotel and would stay again. We had one problem…the medal door stop was horribly placed and I broke my toe in the middle of the night. My boyfriend told the gentleman at the desk about it (more to be informative like maybe they should rethink the placement) and was treated poorly. We were rudely told I needed to go to the hospital and fill out paperwork if I wanted to file a claim (never once said I was looking to get anything out of it, just wanted them to know). Not a single “sorry that happened”. I’m an ER nurse and was NOT going to the hospital for a broken toe I fixed on my own. I was surprised by the treatment as up until then everything was spectacular

Overall good stay
Overall our stay at the Wayfayer was pleasant. Location 10/10 beautiful view of the ocean. Walking distance to local bars and food. Pool and jacuzzi were well maintained and beautiful during sunset. Our room overlooked the pool and had partial view of the ocean which was so beautiful early morning, middle of day, late night. We slept with the balcony door open to hear the beautiful waves. Room was clean. Old though carpets were torn. The dressers was broken, one of our bath towels had weird orange stain. It was a birthday weekend getaway for me and my boyfriend. We enjoyed our stay. Even though it was older it felt clean and well maintained. Definitely would stay again. Pricey but for the location and views so worth it. We walked about a quarter mile down the beach to Konos cafe for breakfast. Bar hopped during the day.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Wayfarer-- super friendly staff, shout out to Alyssa! Very clean & safe. The ocean view was great, and the area around is walkable with lots of food options nearby. Their parking lot is convenient as well.

The location of the hotel was great. We had a partial oven view and the view was beautiful. You can walk almost anywhere in Pacific Beach from this location. The property itself is ok. Bathroom could use updating. The person next to us was smoking weed and it was coming through the adjoining door cracks.

Aside from the obvious amazing location, the hotel is so well maintained. Everyone who worked there are friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfy! We have already started planning our next visit and bringing more family with us.

I loved the location of this property! Being able to walk right out into the boardwalk was fantastic. The only lacking feature was the comfort of the bed - we woke up sore everyday. But that made the hot tub (with the beach view) all that more pleasant to use.

I like the fact that this property was next to the Pacific Ocean and boardwalk. The hotel had a swimming pool and hot tub on site. One could walk through a gate by the pool and walk down to the boardwalk where you could rent a bike and go on a bike ride. You could rent a bike at the hotel for $10 an hour. Beyond the boardwalk was sand and the ocean. The setting was very pleasant to relax and enjoy the beach.
