Location on Pacific Beach is excellent for watching the surf. Hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. Pool is nice. Lots of places to eat and shop around the hotel. Perfect beach getaway!

We’ve stood at this hotel twice it enjoyed the stay, the only downside are the doors constantly slamming shut when some walks out of there room. The hotel it’s self is nice and clean and the beach is a couple steps away from it definitely recommend getting a room with a balcony the sunset and sunrises are beautiful.

the room is meh but you're on the beach and the parking is easy, the staff is great, there's a nice little cafe with really good chicken fingers (i mean how do you mess them up but it was a big order for not a ton of money). if you don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room, then you can't beat it.

Disappointed - expected more for the money
The main entrance to the hotel was closed by construction; we received no alternate directions and drove around for 30 minutes before we figured out where the lobby was in the alley. No one from the hotel contacted us with that information. The idea that a hotel that is this costly doesn't have a glass glass in the room is preposterous. Charging to rent a beach chair - at a beach is also a bit offensive. Let guests check the chair (umbrella, etc.) out and if they don't bring it back charge their card on tile. The pool area is unsafe - the surface is wet and slippery.
