Slightly disappointing

Despite my remarks below we had a good holiday! On approaching our bungalow we could see gravelled areas full of weeds.A door that had a botched repair job so the key opening was a nightmare to get in and out of.Each bungalow is in a block of four all connected by an enclosed small area you can just fit a bike in. Unfortunately that is the area that all the bathroom windows and doors open to! So no privacy and we could hear everything in everyone else's bathrooms! You have to rent an iron and board non provided.Very dated and in need of repairs internally. The main bed and bedding was clean but the bed spread that is never replaced or changed was supposed to be cream on the underside! The stains on them means we just flung them on the floor.All the staff are lovely and the actual complex is clean although every night at around midnight they like to start stacking the sun loungers?? The pool is not heated but clean and a decent size.Only a coffee machine that makes lukewarm coffee no kettle. The cleaners sometimes come every day sometimes every other. The sum total of a clean is make the bed not always change it and wipe over the floor and off they go?? The Holiday World park across the main road flashes bright lights all night and the screams of fun fair riders is not too loud!This did not bother us I might add! but you are not aware at booking how close it is. The only shopping centre has been left to rot but its restaurants are not bad. We witnessed a terrible mugging on the Faro 2 shopping centre one evening which made us decide to walk the 40 minutes to town rather than keep risking it! This is basic accommodation for the price,a hostel is more comfortable to be honest. Would we stay again.. No! too far from everything or anything and For the price charged you could get better!

we liked the location, didn't liked the leak of English language, no internet connection for free and it wasn't even functioned the wifi for payment ,cleaning wasn't perfect, personal wasn't compatant,etc....It was just one person The Lady manager who put on effort to be helpful and tried to help .... There was a pool, but ice cold but thats probably normal for a law budget hotel/bungalow '?!

That is the worse place I have visited so far.I did not use even a single service.Not Restaurant ,not coffee bar not bed.Every one who goes there .I recommend to vaccinate against all kinds of diseases and Infections.Hotels.com shame in you to sel packages of these places.

Great Value for Money

Quiet complex near Faro 2 and fun fair. Sunny pool. Friendly staff. All inclusive was good value. Great to have lunch available for those of us that slept in and missed breakfast!

Didn't honour booking.

Didn't honour the booking. I arrived to find I had the choice of cancelling the booking or moving to a hotel several miles up the coast in Taurito. Though the staff were helpful, there seems to be little point in booking a hotel that you might not get.

Just ok for a week in the sun.

These bungalows are very basic but adequate for a week in the sunshine. On arrival they seem very small. Nice clean bedding (2 single beds in all by the looks of it, and one mattress pretty old). Very little in the way of utensils or dishes if you wanted to self cater. We chose the all inclusive option which was very cheap, so can't complain. Food and service was ok, but a bit mundane. You get the impression that they don't have enough staff, they have tried to renovate the whole place recently and our bungalow had clearly been painted, but still lacked a bit of TLC. Seems like they are not really caring much about whether or not you enjoyed your stay.....basically just a cheap deal so you get what you pay for. If you're looking for luxury this is NOT the place, but if you're happy to just lie in the sun and use your bungalow as a sleeping base, then this would be fine. The pool area is nice, plenty of sunbeds, even within your own garden (which could have been done with a tidy up!). Anyway, overall I'd rate this as ok, and probably wouldn't rush back, but with a bit of care and attention to tidying up the place a bit, then I possibly would go back.

Cheap deal, cheap hotel

The complex was almost empty , with three or four chalets occupied as new owners had recently taken over and the staff had not been paid for three months ( they told us). However, the chalets were perfectly located, perfectly adequate, and as a bed, shower and kitchen only requirement, couldn't be beaten.

Nice place

On arriving reception staff very helpful. All staff really helpful and friendly. The only disappointment was that after my first three days the bar and restaurant shut at 3pm and not opened til next morning. I had enjoyed sitting out next to bar enjoying an evening drink and bite to eat. Beds very comfortable. Will stay again.

Very basic accomodstion

Clean and adequate but minimalist bungalow complex. Situated far from any useful tourist facilities so a car is essential unless taxis are used. Helpful pleasant staff. Small children's play area. Clean pool. Breakfast bar OK. Tiny and may entrance signage makes it difficult to locate initially.

Como aspecto positivo: la amabilidad de todo el personal. Como aspectos negativos: bungalows muy poco cuidados y antiguos, no había ni microondas. La Luz del baño estaba estropeada y tardaba en encender, la cocina también y tuvimos que llamar al recepcionista y que nos diera una portátil para poder hacer la cena. La loza y todos los utensilios estaban muy estropeados..

No me gusto nada...bungalow descuidado,necesita una reforma urgente....piscina en mal estado...se te quedaba la pintura de la piscina en tu cuerpo...no funcionaba la cocina....un desastre en total
