Woofs and Waves is located in a quiet beachside community, The Boardwalk at Cape San Blas, situated on the southern end of the peninsula. The focus of the property owners is to preserve the natural vegetation of the community which is very apparent when you pull into the drive. Located beachfront in the neighborhood is a community pool as well as a gazebo area. An ideal spot for relaxation when coming off of the beach. One bonus to staying on the southern end of the Cape is that you are very near the start of the bike path that stretches all the way down to the State Park on the northernmost end. It’s a fantastic place to ride bikes or go for a run/walk. Salinas Park Bayside is less than a mile away and offers beach volleyball, screened-in grilling areas, a fire pit and a kayak/paddleboard launch into the head of St. Joseph Bay.

Woofs and Waves is a one-story, single level two bedroom home which makes access convenient and comfortable. There is as much living area outside as there is inside, so you’re sure to enjoy both. Under the house you’ll find a grilling area ideal for cooking family meals. On the main level, there is both a screened-in deck as well as an open, covered deck. In addition, you’ll find a widow’s walk above the house perfect for sunbathing. The best part is that you’ll be able to enjoy views of both the St. Joseph Bay and the Gulf of Mexico from up there.

Floor Plan: Ground level: parking, outdoor shower, grilling area. 1st level – living room with sleeper sofa, fireplace, TV, DVD and Radio/CD player; kitchen, dining area, Bedroom 1 – queen bed, twin bed and TV; full bath with shower/tub combo; laundry closet and Bedroom 2 – king bed, TV and full bath with shower only.

The property meets most basic needs. We had to bring our own paper towels, trash bags and dish soap. Personal items are minimal - very small bars of soap and no shampoo or conditioner. Couch and dining chairs need to be cleaned. Not my favorite place by any means.

Great getaway site
Good response from after hours rental property when our guests arrived before us due to flight delays. House was comfortable and had most conveniences( streaming TV, WiFi). Would recommend.

great location, short walk to beach and community pool. great deck to sit out on with choice of screened in porch to keep the mosquitoes away (only seemed to be on non windy evenings), or non screen. loved the upper rooftop deck. so dark at night you could see the milky way and a zillion stars ! handy to have a flashlight in case you want to go for a walk. house well stocked with cooking essentials; dishware, cookware, etc. Comfortable king sized bed, and plenty of towels for personal use. bike trail just across the street, several nature trails along the way, including st. joseph state park near the end of the island. we were here in november, the weather was perfect, some restaurants closed, but still plenty of choices for dining out. grocery store on the cape is well stocked, and prices extremely reasonable. prefer cape san blas over croweded/busy/overbuilt st george island. more vegetation on the cape, more quiet, and great for stargazing.

Beautiful home - great beach access
My two disappointments related to the cleanliness of the house. The floor was covered in black dog hair and there were cigarette butts in the outside patio and the viewing area on the roof. This should have been caught by housekeeping prior to checking in. All else, was great.

Unprofessional end to a simple request!
Overall it wasn't bad however, the ice machine was broke we had to call and have someone come fix it, the dryer doesn't work very well it takes forever to dry clothes, and one of the bathroom toilets was broke and we always had to hold up the inside of the handle to make it flush. My biggest complaint is the fact I left a medical pillow that I called about and was told they would go and tell the cleaning, housekeeping about and I could pay to have it shipped to me. I have reached out several times and NEVER received any response. I find this very rude and unprofessional. I explained in both phone and email conversations this was not just a pillow it was for medical reasons otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Because of this I would never work with this company again nor recommend it.
