**Review for The Arrival**
The Arrival is undeniably a stunning property from an architectural standpoint. The sleek, modern design creates an inviting and stylish ambiance. The pool and bar area are highlights, offering a chic space to relax and unwind. The rooms are beautifully updated with a modern, minimalist aesthetic that feels both luxurious and comfortable.
However, there are notable downsides that detract from the experience. The televisions and remote controls are outdated and frustrating to use, reminiscent of technology from two decades ago. Additionally, the "front desk" setup is unconventional and awkward. Staff members use the bar as their workspace, which not only diminishes the bar's atmosphere but also creates confusion for guests seeking assistance.
Service, unfortunately, is the property’s Achilles’ heel. During our visit, we waited at the bar for over five minutes without any acknowledgment or greeting. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing and took away from what could have been a seamless experience.
Overall, The Arrival has incredible potential but needs to address its service and operational shortcomings to truly shine. For now, it’s a property better suited for those prioritizing style over substance.
