Seahorse Retreat - B226 at North Coast Village

Relax on your ocean view balcony! Seahorse Retreat welcomes you to a tropical paradise filled with streams, waterfalls, and winding paths. Swim in the lagoon-style heated pool, and head to the beach for a walk down to the Pier. The kitchen features stainless appliances and smooth counters, and is equipped with dishes, pots and pans, and cooking utensils. The living area with cozy fireplace is a great place to unwind after a day in the surf and sun, or perhaps a day of sightseeing. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination and a separate dressing area.

Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet.

As you walk through the staffed secure gate to oceanfront North Coast Village, you are transported to a tropical oasis reminiscent of the Costa Rican Rain Forest. Running streams, waterfalls, lush foliage, and Koi meander through the spacious grounds of this resort-like beachfront condominium complex in Oceanside California.

You will notice the crystal clear heated pool and spa, gleaming barbecues, convenient picnic tables, sand rinsing stations to remove the lingering beach. If you need a break from sun and surf, you might enjoy a game of pool, a jog on a treadmill in the exercise room, a little ping pong, or a sauna. Feeding our giant Koi is a simple pleasure not to be missed during your Oceanside visit.

When you venture through the back gates, you find yourself on one of North San Diego County’s finest beaches: broad and flat with volleyball, and great surf breaks - right out back! Beach towels and chairs are provided with the condo.

To the north, you can walk or bike to Oceanside’s busy little harbor for a bite to eat or some boating, and to the south, you can venture down the strand to southern California’s longest pier for some fishing (no license needed). North Coast Village is close enough to walk to everything near the beach, so your car can stay in its secure underground parking spot - especially useful when beach parking becomes a premium in the summer.

The Mainstreet Oceanside Farmer's Market is a delightful experience near the Pier which takes place every Thursday from 9-1.

Beautiful property with great beach access as well as harbor restaurants. Parking garage not so great. Very tight spaces if you drive a truck. We paid $5 a day and parked in the city lot across the street.

This complex is extremely well maintained, with great amenities and common area. Directly on the beach and Bay. Excellent security presence. Quiet area, close to restaurants and shopping. A gem that we intend to return to in 2024.

Great family beach stay!
North Coast Village is always pleasant. This unit worked great for us. The one thing I was disappointed they did have sand toys since they are messy to pack and bulky. That would be a good things to have since many other NC units have them. The beds were great. Pack n play and other baby things available like booster set. Fans in the unit and having plenty of towels. The kitchen is newer and nice! We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location, ok unit
North Coast Village offers a fantastic beach front location at reasonable prices. The property grounds are serene and the underground parking an added bonus. In terms of the unit we rented, the pluses were a comfortable bed, nice ocean view from the balcony and it had everything we needed in terms of towels, beach and kitchen supplies. However, it is in desperate need of new carpeting. We would not dare walk on it in our bare feet, it just looked filthy with all the stains. It is also in need of a deep clean. I found myself dusting on our 1st day there. So while I would stay at NCV again, not at this unit unless the carpets were replaced.

Great condo we enjoyed our stay. Being from Nevada we have air conditioning and never realize there was no air-conditioning. We would’ve brought our own fans had we known. Other than that the grounds were beautiful and well taken care of. Having the harbor nearby was a bonus. We enjoyed our stay very much.

North Coast Village and Oceanside is our go-to place now that we no longer live in Southern California. We normally come in the off-season, but found ourselves in CA for a family event. Normally, we would have never been able to find a condo at NCV for just 4 nights during the middle of summer but we were pleasantly surprised when we found that Make My Vacation didn't have the usual minimum stay that most require during the summer. The condo was clean, well-supplied and comfortable. NCV is an amazing condo complex with nothing missing and right on the beach with easy access. We enjoyed the sunset market on Thursday night which we walked to, the pier, the marina and everything else in between. Just had a lovely relaxing time. Thanks again. We will always be back!!

The property was very nice. The pool was excellent and it was so close to the beach. PROS: Nice size condo, comfortable bed, loved the kitchen and we had a partial view of the beach. Very close to the beach, loved the option of being at the pool or being at the beach. CONS: No A/C, the room was hot and muggy, even with the windows and sliding door open. It was too hot to say in the room during the day but we didn't mind being at the pool or beach all day. The pool is gated and you need a key to get in, but 1 day I saw a group of 4 teenage boys, 1 jumped the fences and let the other 3 in. Not sure if they were staying on the property and for got their keys or they just jumped the fence to be in the pool. The stay was very nice, we met a lot of people at the pool. The pool was quite busy and noisy at time, but it was still a pleasant stay.

Nice, large property and maintained very well. The grounds are beautiful, very tropical looking. Walking distance to the beach and local businesses, restaurants. Major stores are short drive away. Would recommend to stay and we would definitely stay there again.
